Citizen complaint leads to discovery of meth lab

JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL (WBRC) - Randy Christian with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office says a citizen's tip about a meth lab led to narcotics bust.

A concerned citizen issued a complaint about a meth lab in the 3500 block of Railroad Drive in the Lower Coalburg community.

An investigation uncovered the active meth lab and meth product as well as digital scales and a rifle.

45-year-old Timothy Joe Skelton was arrested for manufacturing meth and other charges. He is being held in the Jefferson County Jail.
