Governor Riley takes delegation to Columbia

MONTGOMERY, AL (WBRC) - Governor Bob Riley is heading to Columbia on Monday. He is taking a delegation of government leaders to the country to search for business prospects.

Riley says he considers the South American country a growing market for the export of Alabama goods. Alabama exported more than 432-million dollars of goods and services to Colombia last year.

State officials say Colombia is Alabama's ninth largest export market.

Some of our top exports to Colombia include industrial machinery, aircraft, vehicles and electrical machinery.
