Injured football player improving, still in coma

LEFLORE, AL (WBRC) - The coach of an injured high school football says that his linebacker is improving, but is still in a coma.

In a phone interview on Good Day Alabama on Wednesday, Leflore High School Football Coach Chris Rayman says that Tim Robinson has started moving around and trying to open his eyes despite still being in a medical-induced coma.

Robinson was injured in a game against Spanish Fort with only 37 seconds left in the fourth quarter. He made a hard tackle and complained of a headache afterwards.  Later, he began having seizures and was rushed to the hospital.

Rayman says that the whole team is showing strong support for Robinson and that Robinson's family expects a full recovery for the player.
