Town Hall meetings held to discuss Pelham sewer rates

PELHAM, AL (WBRC) - A series of town hall meetings will be held Monday in Pelham to address a possible increase in sewer rates.

A rate hike is on the table to cut the deficit in the sewer department.

The mayor will host the three meetings. The first meeting is at 7:00 a.m. It's for commercial businesses that might be affected by the hike. The next meeting is at 10:00 a.m. for homeowners to learn about the possible sewer rate hike.

There's a meeting tonight at 6, also for residential customers. Each meeting will be held at the Pelham Civic Complex.
