Trial continues for man accused of killing 5-year-old

GADSDEN, AL (WBRC) - Testimony continues today in Gadsden in the murder trial of Kevin Andrew Towles. He is accused of capital murder, in the beating death of his girlfriend's five-year-old son, Geontae Glass.

On Wednesday, a prosecutor told jurors that a wooden board in the couple's backyard had the child's blood on it. Geontae's sister also testified she saw Towles carrying her brother while he was unconscious. The jury also heard the 9-1-1 call that Geontae's mother made to police where she claimed her car had been stolen and later mentioned her son was inside.
