Kairos Grilled Pork Chop Sandwich w/ Honeymustard BBQ Sauce & Sautéed Cole Slaw
4 boneless Pork Chops, *marinated 6 hours or overnight (See Marinade Recipe at the bottom) 4 Big Sandwich Buns 3 cups cabbage, sliced thin 1 medium size red onion, sliced thin 1 handful spinach leaves 1 cup of your favorite BBQ Sauce (I use the Kairos Secret Recipe) 2 tablespoons Honey 1 tablespoon yellow prepared mustard 2 tablespoons Olive Oil 1 teaspoon minced garlic Sea Salt Freshly Cracked Black Pepper
Preheat your grill and brush on some oil to keep pork chops from sticking. Preheat a medium sauté pan on the grill.
When the grill is ready (about 350-375) put your Pork Chops on the hottest part of the grill. Try to slather as much of the marinade on as possible. Cook for 5 to seven minutes & turn them over. Cook for another five to seven minutes and flip them again. In a small bowl combine BBQ Sauce, Honey, & Mustard. Set Aside.
Add one tablespoon of Olive oil in your sauté pan, and put in garlic first, then cabbage, onions, & spinach. Add Sea Salt & Black Pepper to taste. Sauté until cabbage becomes soft. Add about 2 tablespoons of your Honeymustard BBQ Sauce and stir it all the way through cabbage mixture.
Brush Olive Oil onto the insides of your Sandwich Rolls and put on the grill just until they crisp up on the outside. Transfer to a plate. Smother your Pork Chops w/ Honeymustard BBQ Sauce and place on the bottom of the sandwich bun. Top w/ slaw mixture and bun top. Enjoy!
*Marinade 2 tablespoons Olive Oil 1/2 cup lemon juice 1 teaspoon minced garlic 1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt 1/2 teaspoon freshly cracked white pepper
Mix all ingredients together and pour over pork chops.
Cover & Refrigerate 6 hours or overnight.
