Greater Birmingham Humane Society takes in puppy mill dogs

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - Several dogs rescued from a puppy mill in Talladega County are now in the care of the Greater Birmingham Humane Society. The 32 dogs are described as small and in bad shape due to the conditions they were living in.

The Humane Society says the dogs should be fine once adopted.

Organizers say they also need help caring for all of the dogs.

The GBHS urges people to report suspected puppy mills to shut them down.
