Langford trial moved, delayed

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - The corruption trial of Birmingham Mayor Larry Langford has been moved to Tuscaloosa and delayed until October 19th.

The Mayor originally filed to get the case moved and delayed on Wednesday, saying he is getting negative publicity and has medical problems. Judge Scott Coogler denied the motion to delay the case, but did agree to moving the case to Tuscaloosa, however because of the Tuscaloosa court's calendar, the case had to be delayed until October 19th.
