Tuna pasta

 

6 ounces of tuna poached in olive oil

 1/2 cup calamata olives pits removed,

3 cloves garlic slivered,

4 anchovie filets,

tbl spoon capers,

1/4 cup chopped fresh basil ,

salt and chili flake to taste,

1/2# pappardelle

2  cups marinara sauce. 

Boil pasta in salted water for 6 minutes while pasta is cooking. Sauté all dry ingredients in the oil from the tuna. After 4 minutes add the marinara and the basil cook for 2 more minutes and add the pasta and some of the pasta water. Cook together for 3 more minutes then serve.
