Bingo co-owner robbed at bank in Forestdale

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - The co-owner of a bingo parlor was robbed by three armed suspects in the parking lot of a bank in Forestdale Monday morning.

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department said three black males wearing masks robbed the victim in the parking lot of Colonial Bank in Forestdale Plaza around 9:45 a.m. Monday.  Deputies said all three suspects were armed, took an undetermined amount of money from the victim, and fled in a silver Chevrolet Cobalt with partial tag number 1A336.  Deputies said the vehicle was last seen traveling west on Helfin Avenue.
