Legendary coach Larry Ginn passes

ALEXANDRIA, AL (WBRC) -- One of Alabama's legendary high school coaches has passed away.

Alexandria's Larry Ginn, who for 22 years coached the Valley Cubs to nearly two-hundred football wins, has died at the age of 59.

Larry Ginn is survived by his wife and sons Todd, Scott and Will.  Ginn won state championships in 1995 and in 1997 and he also coached basketball.

Coach Ginn stepped down in 2007 after being diagnosed with melanoma. It returned earlier this year.
