UAB puts emphasis on HS players for 2019 signing class

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - After a historic season, UAB has now signed players that could make the future even brighter.

The Blazers, between Wednesday and December’s early signing period, signed 16 players.

Of the players, only four are from a junior college. Blazers coach Bill Clark said signing predominantly high school players is something you’ll see from UAB in the future.

Clark added that this year’s class might be the best in UAB Blazers history.
