BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall ruled Tuesday the Hoover police officer who shot and killed E.J, Bradford was justified in the Thanksgiving night shooting at the Riverchase Galleria.
“There’s more to the story than what’s there in the video. We needed to understand what the officers observed & what other witnesses observed," said Marshall speaking with WBRC sister station, WSFA.
In speaking about the report, Marshall says they did frame by frame review of surveillance video that was consistent with forensics, and consistent with"the aggressive stance that we see Mr. Bradford taking toward other innocent people in the mall."
He says investigators know what Bradford’s relationship was with the other individuals involved in the shooting that night, but because of the pending investigation, they are not releasing those details.
