BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - The day after the big game on Sunday could be a tough day on employers. A handful of survey’s have revealed a significant number of men plan on calling in sick Monday.
“Nine point three percent of men in the state of Alabama say they will call in sick," said Dan Costa, editor at large at askmen.com. “That’s not a significantly high number in the list around the United States that we surveyed, but still, there could be a lot of empty desks on Monday.”
Now if it were the college football national championship game, that number might have increased considering that game is usually played on Monday night and nine of the last 10 championship games included either the University of Alabama or Auburn University.
