How many of us say we’re too busy to meal prep and eat right or workout from time to time?
Well this pre-diabetic program is designed to make something as simple as squatting or other exercise and eating habits fit right into your hectic schedule.
Whatley Health Services is on a mission to help prevent people from becoming diabetic. The free borderline diabetes informational meeting is Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Robert Hasson Community Center in Northport.
People can join for free and get hands on tips on how to eat healthy and increase their physical activity accustomed to their lifestyle. “There’s a lot of folks that you know um that the doctor told them they need to lose some weight or you need to watch your diet and things like that will lead to diabetes eventually. Everyone is welcomed there’s no food shaming there’s no body shaming,” said Regina Brooks, Whatley Health Services Lifestyle coach.
And just in case you can’t make it today there’s another meeting Jan 16th at Stillman College at 11 a.m.
