MIAMI, FL (WBRC) - Alabama was back to work Wednesday afternoon, practicing at Barry University just days before the Orange Bowl.
The Crimson Tide are adjusting to the warm weather, but starting quarterback and Hawaii native Tua Tagovailoa says he's used to the warmth.
“The weather is a lot warmer you know which is really good, I’m used to it, our guys aren’t. It’s another game, but it’s a big game actually,” he said.
All eyes are on Tagovailoa, who exited the SEC Championship Game earlier this month with an ankle injury. Tagovailoa says he’s about 80-85 percent after having surgery.
It looks like neither team’s quarterback is quite 100 percent,
Oklahoma quarterback and Heisman trophy winner Kyler Murray did not speak to the media this morning due to an illness, but he did practice Wednesday.
