AUBURN, AL (WBRC) - There was never a doubt Bo Nix would sign with anyone other than Auburn.
But on Wednesday, the Pinson Valley quarterback made it official.
For Nix, he’s following his father, Patrick, who played quarterback for the Tigers in the early 1990s. Patrick Nix was also Bo’s head coach at Pinson Valley.
For Bo Nix, his storied career that included back-to-back Class 6A state champions and breaking the record for most career passing yards in AHSAA history has led to Tiger fans welcoming him with open arms.
Not only is Nix a legacy, he’s also one of the top high school quarterbacks Auburn has signed in some time. Nix, according to 24/7, is a four-star prospect and the top quarterback prospect in the state.
With Nix enrolling in January and Auburn starting quarterback Jarrett Stidham already declared for the NFL Draft, the former Pinson Valley standout could make some new before the 2019 season.
