TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) - A 59-year-old man suspected of manslaughter has turned himself in.
Capt. Gary Hood with the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Task Force says Olive Douglas Taylor turned himself in Saturday.
Taylor is wanted for the death of 64-year-old Barry Deone Long, who died Thursday at DCH in Tuscaloosa after being found unresponsive Wednesday with a head injury. Long was found lying in the yard of a home in the 4100 block of 29th Street.
Long was transported to DCH on Wednesday around 2:50 p.m. Authorities say his condition worsened Thursday.
Family members told investigators they had information of an assault that took place at the residence Wednesday involving Taylor.
