BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - Activist Carlos Chaverst was taken into custody Thursday night, marking his second the second arrest this week.
Hoover police say Chaverst was charged with one count of disorderly conduct Thursday.
Thursday’s incident follows his first arrest involving the ongoing protests for the fatal shooting of EJ Bradford on Tuesday.
Tuesday’s arrest came when he was at a protest at the Hoover City Jail at the time of the arrest. Chaverst had four outstanding warrants - one for loitering and three for disorderly conduct, according to the Associated Press.
