BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa’s mom, Diane Tagovailoa, said her son is “feeling great” after suffering an ankle sprain against Georgia in the SEC Championship Saturday night. “He’s feeling great. Thank you for all the prayers and messages, he is feeling great,” Diane Tagovailoa said.
The Sophomore quarterback is one of three finalist for the Heisman Trophy which will be awarded this weekend in New York City. Tua’s brother, Taulia, is also playing for the AHSAA Class 7A Championship Wednesday night in Auburn. “It’s a blessing. I couldn’t have scripted it any better. There’s no handbook for parenting, we are just leaving it in God’s hands. If we put it all in God’s hands, everything will happen the way he wants. It’s just truly a great blessing,” Diane added.
