Man wanted in Tuscaloosa shooting turns himself in

TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) - Tuscaloosa police say a man wanted in a Thursday afternoon shooting has turned himself in.

Tykendrick Barnett was wanted on attempted murder and first degree robbery charges stemming from the shooting of 22-year-old Ryan Torres.

Officers responded just after 1 p.m. in the 2600 block of 20th Street after reports of a shooting. When they arrived, police found a Torres in front of a residence suffering a gunshot wound.

Investigators spoke with Torres and other witnesses about the incident.
