Much colder temperatures for weekend

First Alert Weather 9pm update 10-12-18

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - We will continue with cooler temperatures tonight and tomorrow. Expect overnight lows to fall into the lower 50s with a clear sky. High pressure and dry air will keep the rain away for a few days. Temperatures for Saturday will warm into the mid-70s. There is no rain in the forecast for Race for the Cure at Regions Field. or the Saturday. For UAB, Auburn, and Alabama, expect a mostly clear sky at those games.

Temperatures will warm a bit on Sunday expect highs in the lower 80s. At Talladega, we should see sunshine with highs in the lower 80s. The rain chances are expected to increase slightly on Sunday. The best chance for a stray shower is north of I-20. By Monday, we'll see the possibility of a few spotty showers. Tuesday and Wednesday rain chances will be a bit more widespread. Thursday and Friday look dry.
