Cornelius Bennett reflects on ‘The Sack’: “The only time in my career that I thought I hurt somebody”
From Bama to Buffalo, All-American linebacker, Cornelius Bennett, airs it out with Rick Karle.

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - From Bama to Buffalo, All-American linebacker, Cornelius Bennett, reflects on growing up in Ensley and how he became known as “Biscuit”.

He also dissects “The Sack” against Notre Dame’s Steve Beuerlein. Bennett jokingly says he’s heard from “generations of people” that say they were at the game, even though Legion Field wouldn’t be able to hold that many people. But beyond the Sack, Bennett fondly remembers his games at Legion Field, “for a kid from Ensley, it was everything.”

Plus, he talks about being a proud father watching his son play at Tennessee, his decision to donate his brain for CTE research, and if he should be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
