BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - A.J. Erdley and the UAB offense found a way Saturday afternoon.

With the score tied in the fourth quarter, Erdley and the Blazers traveled 93 yards in 13 plays when Erdley connected with Logan Scott on UAB’s only passing touchdown to give the Blazers the game-winning score, 31-24.

Erdley passed for 180 yards on 12 of 27 passing. He had the 14-yard score to Scott, two interceptions and rushed for 53 yards and a score. Spencer Brown led the rushing attack with 101 yards on 24 carries. Kailon Carter had 49 yards receiving, while Kendall Parham added 36 yards. Kris Moll intercepted a pass.
