BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - Neighbors in north Birmingham tonight got their first look at new ideas for the former Carraway Hospital site Tuesday night.
Corporate Realty will develop the site that’s been vacant since 2008. They hosted an open house where they set up several possibilities and let neighbors ask questions about the plans.
But state Representative Mary Moore says she got some angry phone calls from neighbors expecting more of a town hall setting where they could share their opinions.
Corporate Realty will hold another open house in October to present their findings from this open house and begin a master plan for the 50 acre site.
